Ok I should have taken a tent ... but what fun is that?

So they have these funny little windows in the front of the Prius so that you don't run over folks in the crosswalk I guess. I find that they are perfect to put the CPS suction cup holder. Both folks in the front can still see it and its not attached to the front window. I have found out the some states do not allow you to have the GPS attached to the front windshield. Ticket material I do not want to be.

Now the gear that I purchase for this trip are as follows:

TETON Sports Mammoth Queen Size Flannel Lined Sleeping Bag (94" x 62", Green)

TETON Sports Sleeping Bag Liner (Mammoth, 91"x 58", 1.5 lbs)

Coleman Full Size Quickbed with 4D Pump and Wrap 'N' Roll Storage

The pump that came with the air mattress is worth its weight in gold!! Best part of the deal.

So the first stop was to see Beth in New Jersey and we got to stay at a pet friendly Holiday Inn Suite. Nice stay and the room rate was nice even with Boo the Magnificent with us.

Then the next night we could not find a reasonable room or rate in Virginia Beach so ... we looked at two camp grounds and found out that the KOA campground has cabins for rent and they will take pets!

Sweet!

Not bad and a good rate.

Mr. Trouble himself!

New sleeping bag and air mattress set up.

Cabin came with bunk bed which we turned into storage area real quick.
All in all not a bad stay. You must remember to inflate the air mattress and then let it sit for a while and then refill it again before you go to bed. This trick keeps that air mattress nice and firm.

Later with more!
